Voltaire is said to have consumed between 40 to 50 cups of coffee a day.

While we wouldn't dare to boast of an ability as prodigious as his we do like to make the most out of each cup.

At Coffee & Voltaire we look to provide high quality coffee gear at great prices to make your coffee better and your life easier. On our site you will find products ranging from vacuum canisters, to grinders, to filters all selected with the utmost care to give you, the customer, the best experience.

We know coffee is not just a beverage but an experience and a hobby, and one that can get expensive pretty fast (hello $2,000 espresso machine!). Ours started back in Venezuela with a moka pot. Moka pots are really the only way anyone makes coffee at home there, with the tradition likely arriving in the country with the large wave of post WWII Italian immigration in the 1950s.

After moving to the United States we discovered the incredible diversity of coffee making techniques, learning how to use everything from a French Press to Turkish Coffee with delicious detours through a Chemex and an Aeropress. All the while learning about different grinds, and coffee types and how to perfect each technique.

We hope that through our humble site we can help you through this journey or simply by making your morning a bit easier by facilitating the best coffee at the least hassle.
